Well, the first thing you really need to know about Koch logistics is that it's pronounced "Cook" Logistics.
That's really the only confusing thing about us. People often mistake "Koch Logistics" with the multi-billion dollar national "Koch Industries" aka the Koch Brothers. (Pronounced "Coke" Brothers) Our logos are even similar, but that is purely by coincidence. Although we certainly know our very own "Koch" brothers, we can assure you we are not affiliated with Koch Industries.
The second thing you need to know about us is that we pride ourselves on customer service, and given the fact that a large part of our business has been awarded through referrals, we must be doing something right. As we see larger 3PL providers try to reduce costs by over-automating and filling operational teams with inexperienced new graduates, we realize the need for customer service is now greater then ever. No amount of automation can replace a well timed phone call when things go "less then planned" with a supply chain. The ability to handle complex and time-sensitive logistics has made us a leader in long-term partnerships and construction projects like new store openings and remodels.
Our experience and leadership has positioned us as the "go to" Logistics company for businesses that want to regain control of their supply chains. We work with large fortune 500 companies as well as local start-ups. We can effectively get your freight across the ocean or across the city. We like to say we are "big enough to do anything, but small enough to do it right."
We would love to hear from you about your experiences with 3PL providers, it makes us a better company when we hear feedback, even when it's negative. The world of logistics is changing rapidly with whispers of self driving trucks, drones, driver shortages, and more. What do our customers think of these possible incoming disruptions and how they might effect the transportation industry? Many of these topics will be addressed in future blogs, so be sure to check back or subscribe to our newsletter. Thanks for taking the time to read our first blog post, we look forward to continuing the conversation....
